Hey all. I'm looking for a DAC with optical (S/PDIF) support around $200. An amp is not needed. I plan to primarily use it with my Audeze Deckard (which doesn't support optical). At the moment I'm considering the:
Cambridge Dacmagic 100
Schiit Modi 2
Audioengine D1.
If anyone owns 2 or more of these and can offer sound comparisons, that would be great. Otherwise, any advice or other DAC suggestions would be appreciated.
I was hoping to save some money since I already have the Deckard. But I'd be willing to spend up to $500 if I'm convinced.
