Hello, I have been looking to buy a decent USB DAC that has a headphone amp and an rca output to connect to something like a receiver or whatnot. I have considered an NFB-12 for awhile but the dacmagic 100, from what I have read, seems good too. My budget would be around $250, but would be willing to stretch it for the dacmagic 100 if it was worth it sound quality wise (The dacmagic 100 has more connections but I don't see myself using more than what the nfb-12 has). I can get the NFB-12 cheaper than the dacmagic 100 currently. I found that the nfb-12 uses twin wolfson dacs inside of it and the dacmagic 100 uses a newer, single wolfson dac inside of it. Is there a big difference between the sound quality each of these DACS give because of this? Basically, is there a world of difference in sound quality or any difference at all? If there is none or an insignificant amount, I'll go for the nfb-12.
Also, of course, if there are any other USB dacs around the 250-300 price range that could be recommended, that would be fine too!
