You could try ASUS Xonar Essense STX/ST if you don't mind having your DAC inside the computer-case. The Essence can also be upgraded with Op-amp switching to further improve synergy with the phones. This is a relatively cheap and upgrade-friendly way to go as the line-out is very good and this means you can upgrade with a better head-amp later on.

I think the Essence sounds good with my K701s, but I haven't heard more expencive sources...
