I just got some HD598s which I really like, and I found my old Nuforce uDac (the original uDac) and I figured that'd be a fine match with the HD598s as they don't require much oomph. I saw herehere that the uDac has been successfully used with at least an older generation iPad (I have the iPad Air 2) with the camera connector kit.
But my question: which of the following can I do:
(Option A) Do I need the iPad camera connector kit ($40 on Amazon) to use the uDac? The uDac has a USB type B in (like lots of printers).
(Option B) Can I just use an adapter like this USB-A female to USB-B male for $5 on Amazon to use the uDac with a regular iPad/IPhone USB cable? If this is possible, I'll go this route.
(Option C) And if I do have to shell out the money for the camera connector kit, might this iConnectivity Apple Lightning to USB Type B iOS Inline Connection Cable work instead? That way it'd all be one cord.
