I'm currently using a Cambridge DacMagic Plus with my PC. I use the headphone out most of the time, but also use the optical out when I want to play the audio through my stereo.

It's starting to wear out after about 8 years of use, so I'm looking for something similar, with additional 4.4mm balanced out for headphones.

So far, I can't find any devices that have both 4.4mm and optical outputs.

It's starting to look like I might need 2 separate devices, but I thought I'd check here first if anybody has any ideas.

Thanks!

My receiver also has a S/PDIF digital connection. The kind that looks like an RCA connection.

Maybe I could use that in place of optical.

But can that signal go about 30 feet without much degradation? Probably not...

Get your self a good quality 75 Ohm cable. Simply try a RG6 cable.

As a DAC is a Digital to Analog Converter, DAC's with optical out are a bit rare.
A more common one is a pre-amp style DAC so digital inputs and both line out (RCA or XLR) and a headphone out.

However, it looks like Reebonz has landed your unicorn
