Hi,
 
I'm looking for a DAC with the specific requirements above: has 2 optical ins and a switch to toggle between them (the 2 sound sources).
 
I have a pair of speakers I wanna use for both my PS4 and PC, both of which have only optical outs, and no coaxial. The PC does have that 3.5mm green audio out though.
 
Problem is, I can't find a DAC with 2 optical ins. Many DACs have 2 inputs: 1 coaxial and 1 optical.
 
So, does it exist? I hope it's cheap.

Since you don't want to commit any serious money for the function on a dac, I'll suggest you look at one of the mechanical switches for Toslink.  These will accept 2 or 3 inputs and usually have a rotational knob.  This basically connects the output "tube" to one of the inputs.  They're pretty cheap and then you can select whatever 1 input dac you want.  Do a search on Toslink switches and I'm sure one of these mechanical switches will pop up.

The Rosewill RC-702 PC  sound card comes with a coaxial output and you should be able to find one for under $20.
But I guess you went for the optical switch box.

I don't know anything about the dac you ordered, but that's the type of toslink switch I was talking about.  I'm sure it all will work and only you can decide how it sounds to you.

Yeah and I don't think there's space in my rig for a sound card. The GPU and Wifi card occupy a lot
