Hi guys - I have been researching this for hours now and am finally here and I thought I should just ask myself -
 
I have a Pioneer PD-30 SACD/CD player. I was wondering if it is possible on that to connect an external DAC. Would that work?

That's what the Toslink and Coax outputs are for...
 
But I'm not sure if you will be able to play all formats that way, in particular DSD.
