Ok, I'm back in the market for a DAC. I was contemplating either a USB/Firewire M-Audio Audiophile or an Emu 0404 USB, which one? I just ordered some Klipsch ProMedia 2.1's, and I'm going to need to hook it to the DAC, which is why I was leaning towards the Emu rather than buying some sort of adapter. I've heard a lot of people saying that the USB Audiophile crackles because of the slow 1.1 interface, so I'm weary about that. I could pick up a used Firewire Audiophile pretty cheap, but what would my options be for a 1/8" -> S/PDIF cable to connect it to my ProMedia's?
