As in my signature, I have Microzotl2 Amp, HE1000 headphones and Music fidelity VDAC2. The VDAC is the week lingk. I play mainly FLAC up to 192khz, some DSDs which the VDAC really doesn’t play well. ANy recommendations for good DAC with USB input for this system under $1000 new or used. Thanks in advance.

Not ALL Schiits... the original Loki was a DSD DAC. You can find the occasional lonely, unsold one waiting for a new owner

Yeah, I have seen this, but it needs a full DAC behind it to work. I have teh VDAC2 which is OK but I was looking for the whole package. For portable use I have the Chord Mojo/Poly which is outstanding, I just wanted a DAC for my desktop to play teh files I bought for the Mojo!
