Dear HeadFi member, I amlooking for comparation from both user of SABAJ DA3 and Fiio Q1 MK2 which one is better on SQ and driving power.

Gear used Android phone UAPP app I am looking for warm, full bodied sound for Jazz to Metal music.

From specs it seems like Fiio more powerful, and Sabaj has better DAC.
Also I have to say that Fiio products is a bit more pricey because of brand recognition. Amp chip is well-known MAX97220, if you want to use hard to drive phones, then Fiio is better. Bass switch will be useful for you if you prefer warm sound.
Also of note, that DACs and amps is maybe 5 % of SQ, other 95% is phones and record quality. IMHO.

Hello and please can anyone corroborate that assertion ? That 95% of quality is phones and/or the recordings themselves ?? I'm poised you see (on Ali) above two items in my cart - one a Sabaj DA3 and the other an LG V10 phone. Which one of these do you suppose will get me closer than i've ever been before to aural nirvana ?


(Yes I'd buy them both but budget restrictions are still intervening)
