I have been using my DX90 as a DAC while mobile or feeding it into the LD MK III. I like the sound and i am happy with it


 


I have no idea what a good desktop DAC would sound like, like the Bifrost or Mojo.


 


 


Does anyone have any impression to share on the DAC of the DX90 compared to desktop DACs.

How about the Parasound Vdac v.2? I'm going get that very soon, i heard it's better built with a toridal transformer. Most of the other don't even have that quality.

Actually. The thread is to compare the dac of the portable DAPs to the desktop units. If its worth to invest in one or the sound quality is almost the same.
