Hi,
    I just saved up some money and am looking to get a kickass setup. I am mostly getting a Master And Dynamic MH40 or a NuForce Primo 8 IEM, i maybe able to stretch to an Audioquest Nighthawk.
However i am having trouble in determining what source should i go for, there's just too many options. I'm really liking the Resonessence Labs Herus and the Oppo HA-2 but i am also very attracted to the DAP options like the AK Jr, the iBasso DX80 and the Fiio X7. 
I am so confused.
Some recommendations by you guys would help out a lot. My budget post the headphones would be around $400, so please suggest some killer DAC or DAC/Amp or a DAP that would go well with either one of those headphones mentioned above.

The Schiit stack, Magni 2 Uber and Modi 2 Uber, are in your budget and sound great! They also take up a small footprint on your desktop which will help save space.
 
You looking to go portable or home use only?
 
The CEntrance DACmini CX would also be great sounding although I really do not like the power connector. I wish it used a 3-prong power jack.

Thanks for the input. Yes, I am going for a portable setup else the Schiit stack was on top of my list.
