Hello, can someone give me a few suggestions of a really Good USB DAC that I can order from Amazon. I know the HRT Music Streamer II+ is good. But i need something to replace my fiio e9, DAC/AMP. something on the line 200-400$

hisound 3rd anniversary. I only have one amp and that's the fiio e9. I'm afraid I may get clipping if i get a really DAC that will be stronger than the fiio e9. So i was wondering if a good DAC/AMP combo would work really well.

The Fiio E9 does not come with a DAC feature, you can plug the Fiio E7 and E17 into the top slot to use their DAC feature with the E9.
You can hook up just about any DAC made, into the analog audio inputs on the E9.

At the price range for Dac you can get in Amazon, theres the Audioengine D1, NuForce 2 and Dacport/Dacport LX. They can run your HE-400 no issues. I run my HE-500 with DacPort.
