I have been wanting a good dac for some time. I recently purchased the Neumann speakers, because they are supposed to be as accurate and neutral as speakers can be. I have been using a Schiit Modi for some years now, and I really love what Schiit makes. I want to upgrade to a new dac, and my first choice would be the Schiit Gungnir, mostly because it's in my price range and I simply trust Schiit.
Does anyone know of any comparable dacs, just so I can know what competition there is at around the 1000 dollar range?
