DAC for Multi-Channel audio (5.1 / 7.1)?

Hey,
 
I looked everywhere for a DAC that will do 5.1 / 7.1 converstion, does this exists, any recommandation?
 
I'm trying to build the ultimate HTPC and replace my bluray player, budget is 2-3'000$ max

what you are looking for is called a surround sound processor-  stand-alone dacs are generally pcm 2-channel devices.  a processor will take bitstream via coax or toslink, or via hdmi.   you would then go analog out from the processor to your amplifier(s).

I know I am several years late (!) but just for the record I think the responding commenter was confusing multichannel processors for movies with genuine audio DACs. There are quite a few multichannel DACs on the market. Here's one that does DSD, but I believe most just do PCM:
