Hi everyone,
well, i've discoverd that the sound out of my waveterminal u24 is worse than the sound
from an ipod ( http://www4.head-fi.org/forums/showthread.php?t=116608 ). Several questions:
a) the waveterminal with an amplifier around 200$ (e.g. Portaphile V2, SuperMacro Lite) will
produce better sound than an ipod?
b) the sound of a DAC, like the MicroDac or others of similar price, will be better
than the sound of the waveterminal with the same amplifier?. That's to say, between the MicroDac and the analogue output of an external sound card (of around ~200$) is there a big difference?
