Did a search both in Google and in here and found no real answers. Anyway, I use an IPod touch 6th gen as my source and amcurrently using a fiio e11k amp.
My issue though, is that in order to pause/play/skip tracks, I need to do so on the touchscreen. I know a new dap solves this, but I use Spotify 90% of the time and android daps aren't really that affordable. I did get a cayin n5ii but unfortunately, it was stolen the day I got it. So back to the IPod.
The only affordable dap/dac I can find that suits my needs is the ak10 or Beyerdynamic a200p. I read some reviews and one of them says that they use a proprietary cable? Is this true?
What other dac/amps are there that have physical buttons/knobs to control volume, pause, play, and skip tracks? I'm satisfied with the IPod's Sq, so even if it's an amp only without dac, I'm cool with that.
