I've got a Fiio E10K, a NuForce u-DAC 2 and an HD 555 and HD 660s on the way. The 660s are coming in later this week and I wanted to get a new dac/amp combo for the new cans. I bought the FX-AUDIO DAC-X7 and it sounded amazing on my 555s, but stopped working over USB completely after a few hours of use. I've already got a return set up, but before I buy it again, I wanted to get some recommendations.

I'm willing to spend about $200. I'll stretch it for something really good (I'm considering a Magni/Modi 2 Uber stack...), but I'm looking for the stuff I probably wouldn't normally think of

You might also look into an O2 + ODAC setup.

I completely broke my budget and went with the Jotunheim with the AK4490 balacned DAC after I had a chance to go to the Schiitr store in Newhall, CA and I absolutely love it
