Hi all,
 
Recently obtained a pair of Fostex TH900 and i'm in love. I'm currently powering these with a Topping D2 seen below.  http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006GJ2SK4/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
 
Honestly it sounds pretty darn good. but I feel it still lacks weight in the mids. I'm looking for an amp/dac combo with a warm signature, heavy mids and punchy bass. I was thinking about picking up a Fostex A4 but the USB only power has me worried about power output or lack there of. 
 
I'm reading a lot about Burson amps but i'm not ready to shell out $1500 at the moment.
 
Really looking to hear someone's opinion on the Fostex A4 or something in the $500 range that will really push the TH900s reasonably well until I am in the market for a $1500 amp.

Lets make it easier.. Fostex A8 for $800 used of the new Burson coming out in November for $1600?

I can't justify the price tag in that. $1600 would be my limit. How good can it be?
