Can anyone recommend a DAB radio for less than about £60? Must have FM too.

It probably won't get used for music stations much, so audiophile levels of SQ aren't necessary (hence the price). I'm looking for decent sound, good reception on the move and usability here.

For instance, the little cube Pure thing has a proprietary battery and doesn't come with a charger. Not very usable!

I'd like to be able to run off the mains and have a speaker for around the house.

Cheers.

Thanks, unfortunately this is the one that I think needs the battery pack, rather than normal batteries.

The battery pack lasts longer than normal batteries though. DAB uses a lot of power.

I have a Pure Move which is very small. Very sensitive on DAB. The FM radio is a bit noisy though. Has a headphone socket and it is rechargeable.

It is a useful radio in that is small and sensitive. Battery life is terrific for a DAB (Not as good sounding as the Pure 1, 2 or 3 with SD card though) PURE Move Portable Rechargeable palm-sized DAB/FM Radio: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics & Photo

Well the radio is for a present and I know the recipient would prefer / be better off being able to just throw in batteries. However, it does sound as though it might be okay with the Move including a charging circuit.

Does the Move come with the pack and charger? (Bit confused, amazon shows people also bought a charger.)

What's the longevity of the battery like, i.e. how does it stand up to being left in the unit on constant charge, and any idea what it's total life supposed to be?

By very sensitive, I take it you mean it's good at picking up weak signals?

I think it may be a bit bigger than wanted but if it's as good as you and the reviews say it is, it could be a winner.

Thanks

My Move came with a charger. The pack lasts a lot longer than batteries. It's amazingly long actually. I've had mine since they came out and it's fine.

It's sensitive at picking up signals. Where other dabs are struggling, this one hangs on without as much annoying burbling.

Biggest downfall is it has a small speaker - but good enough for speech. (It is a very small radio you see)

I think it's a nice radio although I don't like the silver colour!!

Thanks, I'll see if I can find one to check out.
