, but am I the only one that thinks they got together because it was the only way to sell tickets.

I mean Eddies ex is promoting Jenny Craig, David lee Roth has some sort of comb over, and Eddie - well let's just say guitarists have advanced since the early 80s.

Times have changed... I guess nostalgia is good, but seeing them for me would just make me feel old... flame away, I deserve it, I know. I like VH with Roth and Eddie, no other combo matches, but...I'd take Roth and Vai, just because... its Vai.

I'll tell you something.....especially after the weight loss, Valerie is still smoking hot!!

I'm still hoping for the reunion tour with both DLR AND Sammy, backed by the Van Halen bros and Michael Anthony.

Huh, I'm impressed... I didn't think they had it in them anymore.

I realize that Eddie wants to give his son a break, but I would like to see Eddie, David, and Michael, together! I'm impressed that his son was able to pull it off though. Thats one bad ass concert that I would like to see!

good to see him singing the lyrics. I used to have a *ton* of live bootlegs from VH, and as the tours progressed, especially on the 1984 tour, dave would spend more time prancing around stage and swinging swords around (no joke) than singing. Maybe a word per verse at times, if that.

If you want a live VH+Roth album, look for shows of the US Festival in 83 I think it was. Tons of bootlegs of that around, good quality (was professionally video taped and such). Good show.

I've heard four or five bootlegs from the tour so far. Absolutely amazing considering it's 22 years. Even without Michael Anthony, it still awesome.

Wolfie looks like a giant compared to Eddie...almost as big as Val. I'd like to get a closer listen to his bass playing. It sure looks like EVH is revitalized up there with his son. If you check out the "Jump" recording from Philly he gives Wolfie a kiss at the beginning. Call me soft, but that was kind of cool. Probably a dream come true for Ed to be playing this tour.
