I had to pry them out of Denon's customer service with several emails but, my Denon AVR-2809ci has these specs:
Output power: up to 125 mW
Frequency response: 10 Hz~100 kHz, +1, –3 dB (mode DIRECT)
Max voltage output: 1V at 16 ohms, 2V at 32 ohms
Output impedance: under 500 ohms
S/N Ratio: Better than 100db
Distortion .005%
Obviously it can drive the cans, but the output power seems to be a little on the low side. How much improvement would I get by going to the Little Dot i+ and running it from the Denon's pre-outs?
