Some advice please,

I have to study alot in a library these days and I'm not going to be moving about a lot.

So do you think it would be worth using this amp out of the headphone out of the D2 with the SE530 or rather to leave the amp out?

Anyone have any thoughts on using the equaliser with SE530?

One more thing the SE530 seem very sensitive and when I switch the amp on/off there's a loud 'blip' it actually hurts my ears but will it hurt the earphones?

I amp my D2 and yes it does improve the overall sound quality of the system. Whether it's worth it or not is up to your ears though.

I leave my equalizer flat because that's what I prefer, experiment for yourself.

I get that blip too but I don't have my earphones/headphones on when I power up. It also doesn't seem to hurt the equipment as far I know.
