Thats a lot of money for a D-777

I only paid like $96.00 US for mine, plus the D-777 isn't even worth that much and for only one DISCMAN. Who ever bought that D-777 just got ripped off. I'd love to see he/she's face when they get it and it don't even work

I've noticed some VERY nice ones with all the original equipment going for about $100 on ebay.

I wouldn't go for a 777, since the much newer 2000 can be had for less.

I saw this auction too, and my jaw dropped.

Must be some mistake by the bidder. Otherwise i bet more than a few of us will be parting with our D-777s.

On another D-777 note, where is the best place to get batteries for the thing?

From the evidence that both of the last two bidders were new and had their only comments mutually withdrawn, I'd think this is some attempt on the seller's part to drive the price up, probably an experiment to see if (s)he could get away with it.
