The CEO of Cypher Labs has posted a reply on the drop;

Hi, this is David, CEO of Cypher Labs. Just wanted to chime in and say I'm really exited about this new way of connecting with customers. This is our first foray into the Massdrop.com experience and it seems to be going along well. Since it is our first drop, we went low with the price. Don't expect to see the price this low again. The 20th community member to join the drop will really be giving everyone of you a great deal.

We are a small company and your comments here and elsewhere are very important to us. You can find us on twitter (@cypherlabs) and facebook (facebook.com/CypherLabs) to join in more dialog with other fans.

I think you will really enjoy the C6iem. I'm very happy with the way it turned out. Making new, and great, products is a big challenge. The C6iem is a new product, with more reviews coming. Feedback from current customers and dealers is very positive and comparisons to the highest rated IEM's have it ranked with some of the top brands already mentioned in this thread. The build quality is superb, with tight fitting recessed cable connections, high gloss carbon fiber and unique serialization on each pair (red on the right, blue on the left) among other features.

Cheers,
David Maudlin, CEO
Cypher Labs

  How is the sound abang?

Hi abang, It has warm sound with sweet midrange, good bass, bigger staging than SD-2s. Do I miss the treble? It never harsh, instead deliver smooth from upper mid to lower treble. I think C6iem has balance sound with taste of warmth, clearly different signature from SD-2s. Apologize I can't tell more, my DAP doesn't good enough to reveal the detail quality of C6iem.

Is there enough energy in the treble? And when you say good bass, is that referring to quality or quantity, midbass or subbass? :) Trm ks!

Has anyone seen any photos of how this fits in the ear? I have small ears (female) and I am concerned that they may be too big for my ears.  I have no problems with Westone or Shure but when I use my Etymotic ER4S, they stick out of my ear.

Depends on your ears really, mine are small and they stick out a lot
