Needless to say, I want something better now that my CX300's are broken. I've been looking around for a while already, and I basicaly think of the UE5Pro's and the Q-Jays as the top contenders.

I own some Dt880's as my home-cans, and I love them! They provide an excellent soundstage, are very comfortable, and have all the highs and mids in order. A bit more low-end thump wouldn't hurt them though, so I'm basically looking for a slightly bassier Dt880, which fits into my ear. The Se530's by Shure are out due to the apparant lack of highs and Ety6/4's are out because of the apparant lack of lows, which I do need for my Rocky listening habits.

I'm looking for some suggestions for whether to buy the UE5Pro's, the Q-Jays, or something else in the vicinity. No customs, nothing much more expensive than either, thank you.

Geez, I sound so annoyed. I'm sick, that's the reason, though.

You could consider the Livewires, customs don't have to be expensive.

I find that they have very punchy bass.
