Trying to decide which to go for. I'm thinking I might just buy both in a store so I can return them when I decide

is there anything else I should be looking at? trying not to spend too much in the end as this is kind of a bridge-gap until I decide how to replace my full size's

I guess comfort level is also something to mention- I would be listening to these for quite a time up to 8 hours even which is why I'm normally a full-sizer

both cx300, ep-630 and mylar one are rated high in comfort.
You can choose without problem

Most people have no issues with the CX300/EP630 (theyre the same housing just a different sound) comfort, I find the FX34 is good after you get used to it but until you do it can be a pain. Get both, kramer mod the marshmallows, burn them both in, then compare them. It's pretty even with the kramer mod on the marshmallows.

wow the bass on these fx34's is insane. the kramer mod is to help with that correct? I'm rocking flat eq and its BOOOOOOOOOOOOM

preset for jazz on my iriver h320 seems to work really well but of course its not perfect
