Hey guys I narrowed down my choices for a running pair of headphones to take with me to the gym I listen to trance, techno and the like so bass is pretty much a factor. Since im running I need them to be durable and not like my last 5 pairs of headphones that all broke within a year... Most of all i need them to be comfy so I dont just think about how my ears hurt that would hinder my running. So which one is it? The price range is the same..... cx300, ep630, mdr-ex75, AH C351 ?

I'd go for the EX85 or EX90 instead of EX75, but I also really like Sennheiser's sound-go for the CX400 instead of the CX300.

Actually-look at the Sony AS series and Sennheiser's sports range-as these are designed for sports/active use.

I hate J cabling (one earphone has longer cord than the other - like the cx300 has), especially for sports.

j cables have bad microphonics imo.
i think that all canalphones are comfortable too.
I also think that most entry-level canalphones have decent bass.
I have cx-400 and ah-c351.
i think if you are for better microphonics and bass you should go for cx-400 to wear over the year. or ep-630

ok so the only ones that dont have a j cable are the sony and the creative, so i decided to go with a ex85 as there is only a 5$ difference between the 75 and the 85. hope I make the right choice guys...... to accompany my shuffle..

voicemaster, that was my number 1 choice as I searched and founc your numerous posts of the denons however they are j cable and have and extension so running with them would be messy, but I do like the bass, might get the 551 for casual via your recommendations

C551 will definitely satisfy you with it's awesome bass.

If you have more to spend, try the aurvana inear, audi is rich & noise was isolated completely... the comfort level was still there after few hours of use I like the accessories it comes with.. especially the cleaning kit, nice & convenient cleaning solution

the white one looks more for ipods

ok sad day today guys.... I received my ex85s and they were in blue instead of black, but it's fine. when i opened the package it was j cable and extension required, everything I hate for a gym IEM.....

I should have gotten the denons if I wanted this..... The only thing that blasted me away literally was the bass, they are a keeper, but the sad thing is they probably wont last 3 to 6 months with me in the gym...

I will take it for a run next week and see if they are too distracting and fragile....
