Hi all,
Hope someone can help to answer some questions here :
Based on the amp performance, are all these 3 the same ?
(forget about Cute II Battery uses rechargeable & Fubar has DAC).

I read somehwere that Cute Beyond is class A amp, while Cute II Battery is class AB amp. How much different does that make to SQ on cans ?

And is the DAC in Fubar III worth getting ?

Thks

The Fubar III worked out pretty well for me. I used it for a couple of months until I moved up to a PS Audio Digital Link III and Wadia 170 doc.

No glitches save attempting to drive a 16 ohm load (it shut down). One nice feature for me was the DAC's ability to output a mono signal. No other DAC I have will do that, and since my wife can only hear out of one ear I've handed the Fubar III down to her so that she can listen without any sort of contortions.

The amp is just fair, I'd say. I upgraded to a Little Dot Mk III rapidly but kept using the Fubar for the DAC for much longer.
