Hi everyone,

I am the happy owner of a beautiful pair of Shure SE 215. I was wondering if it was possible to make it more like a CIEM. Like, go to the audiologist with my Iems, make him do a "printing" of my ear and the iems...i hope I'm clear enough :D i wouldn't have to use foams anymore as my se 215 would fit in my ear like a pair of CIEMs.

Is it possible to do something like this? Is it worth it?

Best regards,

Stan

Actually there is a video on youtube where they show you how to turn a IEM into a CIEM. It didn't look very difficult. The IEM they were using was the Monoprice 8320. I can't access youtube from my office so I can't provide you the exact link. Just search on youtube and see.
