I have been playing with silicone putty attempting to make custom tips from molds taken from my custom earplugs.

Had anyone tried doing their own tips in this manner?

Any advice on making tips that fit snugly into the iem nozzle, so far the tips I have made are not secure enough for my liking.

Any advice is welcome.

I've been making silicone tips for years using sort of unsafe tin silicone putty.  the bare earbuds had a sleeve and I would cram silicone in my ears then the earbud with the sleeve.  Once the mold set, I'd take the sleeve off of the earbud, then wrap dental floss to make for a tighter fit.

Works.

I'm in the process of graduating from silicone putty to silicone liquid.

I'm researching materials like dragon skin 10, 20, 30.  Youtube will have videos of people using it.

For what we want, I think a two part mold would be best.

Good luck.  You gave me a great idea.

If you want to stick with the radians silicone putty mold, then the key will be to find out the diameter of the tubes and get something that is smaller than the tubes and cram that into your head.

Probably easier if you have a friend cram the tube into your head.
