Hey!
So for the past 9 years i've been only listening to my ATH-A500s. I've been very happy with these reasonably priced cans. Music aside they provide a really nice soundstage for movies and some games that focus on sound greatly.
Now i'm considering buying the Custom One Pro Plus because i would get a really good deal for a brand new set. Like $140 for them which is a GREAT deal, at least where i am here in the far away Northern Europe.
The one thing that worries me about these sets is the same soundstage fact. Are they on par with the old ATH-A500s when watching HD movies, and playing some EAX enabled games? I know they often compared to ATH-M50 which is a completely different headset than the A-series. They focus more on bass but lack the soundstage unlike the A500.
So now many years later would you consider Custom One Pro Plus as a replacement over A500 for the mentioned good price for the non-music related tasks?
Thanks!
