After Getting some replies that re-shelling is a bad idea. Custom eartips is the way to go apparently.
Has anyone used sensaphonics in the past? or any other vendor recommendations?

Just found out etymotic has a custom eartip program as well, anyone have experience with them?

Custom eartips personally i would not rec as it feels weird. As the material is usually silicone but your iem is of a different material mine is acrylic as its by empire ears. And the feel was just weird as you get this mixed material and makes it pop out abit more than conventional comply tips. Hope that helps

yeah what im looking for is improved comfort and easiness of insertion, removing the 3-flanged tip isnt hard, but apparently custom tips are a step up?

What about just going with one of the reasonably priced CIEM's? Would that be easier?
