My initial review of the c3 was pretty pleasing then I did something....I amped them.....one word "thunderstruck"! These things turn into $600 studio monitors. Bass just tightens up and becomes lightning quick, mids just purr, highs shine with no hint of sibilance. I cannot recommend these highly enough, and they aren't close to being burnt in. The isolation was wonderful on my first flight with them. If you want the pinnacle in portables buy the c3's.....then ask them for their lives.....they will deliver in exponents! Klipsch has lightning in a bottle with these little beauties.

I campared image n C3 side by side with imod, classic(line-out n HP). To me C3 was more refind n detailed with deep clean bass(bit less than image but more clean). The difference between Both are more like SF5Pro n SF5EB.
