What songs do you prefer to listen on the SR60?

(Only quarter moded the stock pads so far.)

But I listen mostly to Vocal Trance and Hip Hop / Rap / Pop and I find they don't have enough boom and kick to them. Can I also get open headphone recommendations based on the preferences please.

I switched out the comfies and got flats, then modded the flats (cutting a millimeter or so around the inner circle) to open up more HF. The bass is awesome. I also modded my SR60s by steaming the cups open, then punching out the holes in the filter behind the driver before installing damping foam on the back of the magnet plate, the back of the rear-grill button, and along the inner walls of both cups. It brings out a lot of bass, and with the cushion mods, it creates a dynamic though restrained response.

Here are some fun tracks I've enjoyed with SR60s. The list isn't meant to be exhaustive, just suggestive. In fact, it's embarrassing how many great tracks I've left out but I tried to pick some less obvious choices.

I choose SR 60 only when i have to listen music at home but they do not sound enough when you are outside your home like airports where you do not want outer announcements and other people voices in your ear. but it is good for private use

Eagles stuff is so well recorded that I bet even crappy headphones sound good with it... not that the sr60i are crappy. ; )

Gee, go figure, I LOVE "The Eagles". I also think the Steely Dan stuff sounds great.

First post, figure this would be a good place to start. Just got my sr60i in the mail the other day been listening to them nonstop. Anyways, Jimi Hendrix: Blues CD sounds amazing! Born Under a Bad Sign is by far the best. Though I ripped all my music into Apple Lossless and am just cruising through my albums all over again, fantastic.
