I closed my eyes and literally felt the presence of the stage. Magnificent!

What songs do you prefer to listen on the SR60?

(Only quarter moded the stock pads so far.)

But I listen mostly to Vocal Trance and Hip Hop / Rap / Pop and I find they don't have enough boom and kick to them. Can I also get open headphone recommendations based on the preferences please.

JiNuWiNe, congratulations!
I suggest you buy all the rock CDs out there and listen with. You will be able to see the power of rock songs with SR60. Like what I did, one of my favorites at this time is the Aerosmith Rock CD. Rock on!

SR60 is good with almost anything, within reasonable volume levels.

All the classics sound great with the SR80

but the SR80 is best with Christopher Cross

It's good to know people have a wide range of music. I'm sampling all of the suggestions at the moment. Dire Straits is definitely good.

Hotel California on MFSL Gold Disc sounds absolutely stunning on my DT880/600. Look forward to auditioning the T1's shortly. I know this thread was about Grado's but I just figured I would comment on the song selection.

Also not sure if you are listening to the recording or the live version form Hell Freezes Over if you are listening to the recording check out the live version form Hell Freezes Over album I feel in some ways it is better than the recording.
