Hi. Haven't been very active here lately.

In a month or two I'm getting a new cell phone / smart phone. And while audio use is only one of the aspects to consider, it's something to take into notice too. The possible phones to consider are probably iPhone 4/4S, Samsung Galaxy S II, Nokia Lumia 800/900 (the latter to be released I believe).

Any idea of sound quality differencies between these phones? I'm not expecting anything fabulous, but is some of these clearly better or worse than others?

Thanks.

It seems like a bad time to buy a phone. The Tegra 3 phones are right around the corner  (with a quad-core processor and a one core battery saving mode). Who knows what the audio will be like though. I think it's getting better with each new edition.

Some say my Samsung Galaxy S2 is supposedly worse sounding than the S1. I've never heard any portable that sounds better than my S2 and I'm looking forward to the S3 (in a few months, I hear).

Look for those with wolfson chip if SQ is your priority in your selection of the smart phone.
