I've an av710 coming in the mail on Tuesday, and I'm wondering what the currently accepted best driver is for using the av710 with high-quality mode (the one we buy the card to use). I won't be using the card with an external dac, so there's no flashing it to a prodigy to use the prodigy's better drivers, and the av710 setup guides haven't been updated since 2005 or this past january.

thx in advance,
binkgle

I am using the latest and just got mine in from zipzoomfly. Works reall well. No problems at all.
I had crashing problems with the older one recomended.Maybe because I am using a Athlon 64 bit dual core cpu.
Version 500b is the newest one I could find.

i've got it up and running, using the latest driver (v500b), working perfectly in foobar 0.9.3.1 with kernel streaming, resampling to 96000 Hz, etc. so far i'm liking it. review soon, i hope.

I'm using the latest drivers too (v500b) and I haven't noticed any problems with foobar2000 kernel streaming to 44.1/48/96KHz analog out. I haven't tried digital out.
