Hey guys, I just wanted to start an appreciation thread for XB's, the overshadowed brother of the X3's. Man do I love these XB's. These have replaced my X3's as the canalphones to beat at the price range. The bass is incredible on these. You can actually feel the thump, a true basslovers headphone. There is quite a midbass hump that you can really feel. I know these aren't very clear headphones, but they are so FUN to listen to, way more so than the X3's. I feel like the X3's provide a LITTLE more clarity and detail, but the warmth and the bass of the XB's trump the X3's.

All you other XB owners and lovers, let's show some love for these babies. Everyone keeps talking about X3's (and also for good reason.) Let's have people start talking about the XB's and recommending the XB's instead

Eeehm, if you love them so much, why are you selling them?

But seriously, they are very good IEM's, especially for metal and rap.

Yeah, what he said. Don't need two and I have to recover some of the cash I spent on a PK1.

I'll try it with an amp when I get the chance. Just sold my PPA, and I'm looking into getting a Corda MOVE or iBasso D1.

i wonder, if DAP's, made difference to Mylar sound sigs, when i used X3 in ipod they have harsh highs, but when i used them in creative sound, the high is so smooth

i wonder if XB have the same experience

Just an informational post for all you U.S. based Mylarone Junkies.

theiriverstore.com is now the exclusive retailer/distributor of the Crossroads Mylarone brand in the U.S.

Uncle Wilson can confirm this if anyone needs more info.

They offer the X3 in 3 color choices and the XB.
