Well, I went out to my car this morning to go to work, and my front drivers side window was broken. But the stereo was there.... strange huh? Well, I popped the trunk and they took my subs and amp

This really sucks... I'm not gonna miss my sub and amps that much, it's just that I don't feel safe anymore. And of course this morning was crazy... talked to insurance, police, glass people, all callin' on my home phone and cell phone at the same time, ugh. Hope this never happens to yall, it's a pain.

Sorry to hear that Flump.

I hope the pigs do something useful for a change and catch that son of a crackwhore. You should install motion detectors that automatically turn on a hidden mini high resolution color video camera for a silent alarm system.

lol...thanks audio&me...

What really sucks is that since I'm in a big city (Dallas), the police don't care. I filed a report over the phone in two minutes. That's it... I mean I wouldn't expect them to be able to find the people, but still sucks.

Do you live in a good neighborhood or are your neighbors all self absored heroin addicts?

If your neighbors will even listen to you, you should go around knocking on doors ask if they saw anything.

Sorry to hear about that, Flumpus. My apartment was broken into earlier this year and I lost about $4.5K worth of stuff. Same deal - the police didn't do a whole lot. Hopefully the insurance will come through for you.

I feel for ya.
Had my window broke out and they took the stereo. Problem is they ruined the dash so bad I had to replace it to. That cost more than the stereo did. The cop acted sympathetic, but the was the last I ever heard from him. This was in a very small town that I didn't live in.

Last year I was staying at a Hampton Inn in Orlando, close to Universal.

Came out in the morning and the right rear window was broken out. Took over 4 hours for the cops to show up to take a report. No one was bleeding.

They got one small tool box. The only one that had MY stuff in it. Everything else was company.

Stupid thieves. I keep the interior lights off 'cause I leave the doors open a lot when I'm working. They went through the glove compartment. Took out a GPS and left it laying on the seat. Escort "SOLO" radar detector laying on the console. Speaker attachment for cell phone plugged into cigarette lighter. All still there. Happy about that, But Stupid Thieves are Definitely the Worst Kind of Thieves

the police really do not give a **** about your loss. Not this years "big thing"
Drive without a seat belt or not renew the emissions sticker and you will get more of a hard time than an actual criminal
Rob me and I put my faith into "so whats up ? loking for so and so"
Then I get MY OWN **** BACK and someone goes EM

Had two stereos stolen from me in college.

First one was my first nice system, a Pioneer - not great, but light years better than anything I'd had up to then.

Insurance paid and I got my first CD player and a Jam box for $200, a pair of Koss head phones (model since forgotten), a $300 scanner on sale for $175.

Well, new town, new school, same story. Except this time they crawled through a window and had to climb over the scanner to steal the jam box and CD player. Didn't grab the headphones either - their loss (like I really think they were going to listen to it)

A buddy had a cheap car stereo, but was given one of those Rockford Fosgate graphics to put on his rear window. You guessed it, bye-bye cheap stereo. He dumped the logo when he put a nice stereo in with the insurance money.

This is another reason I hate drugs. The stronger ones especially encourage criminal behavior. Last week, one of my friends here in Vladivostok was murdered by heroin addicts in search of money. He was a 24 year old Japanese exchange student. One of the kindest and gentlest people I have ever met. They came up to him on the central square in the city and introduced themselves. He was very open, so they talked, and eventually he gave them his number. They used this to find out his address, made their way into his locked building. There were three, but only one went up to the door. He said that he had something that he wanted the student to translate for him, and that it was urgent. Eventually he was let in. He brought in the others, and they proceeded to strangle and beat him to death. They made off with a laptop, a VCR, and 100 dollars. If anyone can think of anything more senseless, please tell me.
When he was being interrogated, the leader said: "It's all the same if you put me in jail, as I won't be around much longer -- I am dying of AIDS." All this because a ****ing chemical. This is why I have no ****ing respect for drug users, whether it be heroin, coke, pot or even abusing prescription stuff like valium and ritalin. It all demonstrates a basic weakness of character, and the further you go up the chain, the more the drug exaggerates the fault. So I say **** you criminals and drug users -- I don't give a **** about your victim of society ********. If society made you do it, then why are the majority of your peers upstanding citizens?

Damn stuart
frown.gif

No one should go out like that
But gentle hearts always do
Never having met this person I still feel pain
short story :
Only person in my life that I have met that always had a smile , never had issues with another human , and wasjust a pleasure to be around.....
was leaving work one fine autumn day and it started to snow. And Jason being who he was decided to walk home rather than take his car , because he took joy in the little things
as he was crossing the road a car came damn near to running his ass over so he jumped away and yelled "easy man ,tryin' to walk here"
Just so happened that these pieces of human **** decided that was over the top and something just had to be done.
So they , as in two on one , proceeded to step out of the car to kick some ass and instead were taken down HARD AND FAST
From one of the truly gentle souls I have had the priveledge to meet in my lifetime
Cool and "gentle" in no way means PUNK
So these so called bad asses , with thier female companions in the car could not accept the fact that this guy tossed thier ass all over the road
The response ?
STICK A BIG ASS KNIFE INTO HIS BODY REPEATADLY !
But the worst part is he STILL did not have to go if a single person that witnessed it just called 911.
INSTEAD they pulled the shades ,stuck thier heads in the ****ing sand and let this human being die a slow death
**** **** ****
Wherever you are Jason , I miss you man
(he was the first to call me the rickster and then later rickmonster.I still use these terms in his honor)

It must be a universal thing that the cops just take a note or two and leave ... when I got shot they did even seem to care ... "yeah, we'll catch him for you right away". Whatever. Sorry to hear about your stuff man.
