For those who never heard of this company before, Cresyn is a decent earphone/headphone maker in Korea. It is known for the high quality products with reasonably low price. It makes some OEM/ODM products for Audio Technica...such as CM3 or CM7.

Anyways, they just recently released a new headphones:

CS-HP720:

Max power input of 1W?! Is it just me, or is this quite a high power-handling capacity?

Purely from the specs alone, these headphones are pretty technically able.

EDIT: I have to admit that she (the second one) does look quite pretty

The G Lite is suppose to put out 1 watt max (though I am not sure at what impedance it needs to give that)!

The first one looks comfy, though ugly.

The design somewhat reminds me of Audio-Technica's AD-series...

Well I think I'll choose comfort over fugliness..

They sort of look like the Philips HP-890:

Those Philips are horrible. They have them playing out of universal/multi-disk Nakamichi players at certain record stores in Hong Kong and they really don't sound very nice. They don't feel well made either.

Hmm... My father has them, and they're quite OK. Received good reviews at the time. Not the best sound, an quite fragile, but they were not expencive.

Problaly not treated very well in stores, huh? And not a good choice for in-store use.

First off, to the poster above you, yes pretty girl indeed.

Secondly, the Sony MDR-CD1000 and Sony MDR-CD3000 also had a rating of 1 watt. I've seen headphones out there with 2 watt ratings.

But as a correction to my Sony CD1000 specs, they also had a frequency response that extended down to 5 Hz, and up to 30kHz, along with 50mm driver units.

They were some of the best sounding headphones, even by todays standards, but Sony doesn't make such good headphones anymore. I purchased the CD1000 back in 1994. If you can find yourself a pair that has hardly ever been used, you should definately check them out, but you will shell out a pretty penny for them.
