Creepy/scary/horror songs that aren't cheesy

Making a playlist. Not looking for anything too "heavy" (like Gorgoroth, Cannibal Corpse, etc). Although I like metal, the person I'm making the list for doesn't.

VNV Nation - Tempest
Charles Manson - Ego
Acid Bath - Scream of the Butterfly
Mount Eerie - Through The Trees

Planning to throw in a few mellow dubstep tracks by Milanese, Skream and 2562.

Pink Floyd - Brick in the Wall
Led Zeppelin - Stairway to Heaven
 
They're not gory or heavy but they're creepy imo.

"Poison" from Lauri Anderson's Bright Red/Tightrope album.
 
Pure paranoia put to music. That doesn't sound like anything else.
 
The whole album is a bit creepy, and for audiophiles it's particularly well recorded, with Brian Eno atmospheric production. Compared to many mentioned so far, this is definitely on the quiet side.
 
The only link I could find was a live version, which is NOTHING like the original.
 
Or how about "A psychopath" from Lisa Gemano's Geek The Girl.
The scariest song about girl-terrified-by-axe-man-at-door. Ever.

Current 93's "The Inmost Light" Trilogy is absolutely unnerving. I'm not allowed to listen to it around my brother's girlfriend or my niece apparently.
 
Most Current 93 works fall under the Creepy/Scary category, but the "Inmost Light" trilogy is by far some of his best.
1. Where the Long Shadows Fall (Beforetheinmostlight)
2. All the Pretty Little Horses: The Inmost Light
3. The Starres Are Marching Sadly Home (Theinmostlightthirdandfinal)
He wrote them with the help of Horror writer Thomas Ligotti 
Mind you Nigel has a lot of work in which I haven't even begun to scratch the surface.
 
 
Before that though you may want to give "I Have a Special Plan For This World"

Any of the tunes on Nick Cave and the Bad Seed's Murder Ballads qualify as music not to listen to if you're home by yourself.

With Massive Attack on that list, you should definitely add Portishead. Their self-titled album is one of the overall creepiest albums I've heard - as in, creepy without sounding malevolent (sort of a tricky balance between the two). There are a lot of creepy tracks on Portishead's self-titled album, my favorite is "Humming".
 
Not sure why "Heat Miser" is on the list though, I've always thought of that track as being more sexual/sensual than creepy and I'm pretty sure that was MA's intent too - "creepy" definitely isn't a theme on Protection, the album it's on. If you want Massive Attack-style creepy, go with a track off Mezzanine instead, like "Inertia Creeps" or "Black Milk", or "Antistar" from 100th Window.
