Hi! I have a Creek OBH-11SE amplifier who recently began making power on/off noises; the power on noise consisting of a direct current "boof" plus some strange, small bi-transients, and the power of noise mainly consisting of the direct current "boof". When I measure the output voltage during power on/off, it gets as high as +/- 5-6V (slowly decreasing), which I reckon is not good for the headphones. Do any you have any idea of what could be wrong? And what is the most common issues with the amplifier?
In addition, the output transistors has heated the ciruict board so much that it has gone brown. Is that normal for this amplifier? Anyway, I am going to buy some small cooling ribs for TO-92 transistors.
Thanks in advance!
