Hi People

I ripped a couple of albums to lossless .wav format files and put them in a folder and dumped them on my Zen micro.

To my shock the folder never appeared in the album list but I could access the files through the "all tracks" menu option.

Presumably someone has experienced this before but I'm just wondering if anyone has found a solution

just a guess, but WAV files aren't stored with tag information - therefore when browsing by tags, they won't show up. i'm pretty sure the itunes/ipod system does have a tagging system for WAV files, so i may be wrong.

It's maybe just the way I'm ripping them, I think I should be able to add the tags in manually using Foobar2000 I'll have a look later thanks for the idea...

what i'm saying is that wav doesn't support tags natively. you need a third party system that ties tags in.

you will have to use a program like tag&rename after you rip the files. I have to retag them before adding to itunes.
