Does this unit have a "true" line-out", I want to hook up a Xin SuperMacro.

I don't believe so. Asked a Cambridge Soundworks (owned by Creative) sales rep and he said no. Went to another store and asked same about Archos, Creative and RCA video players and got the same answer.

Seems it's not available.

So there isn't a mp3 player with a built-in true line-out besides the iPod? Hmmm.

Yes, you are correct. I have a Pocket Dock currently and waiting for the new Sik Din. But I can't believe there isn't another MP3 player on the market that doesn't have a true line-out besides the iPod.

Check the H320 and H340 for line out which is pre amped line out on the player allready, no need for docks like you need for the ipod.

iAudio m3 also has pre amped line out I think via a small dock you attach to it

The Rio Karma has line out via the dock

Stop the missinformation, sounds like you are part of some nasty apple stunt.
