I just found out about Creative's Zen MicroPhoto, looks like it has an 8GB micro HDD, replaceable rechargeable lithium-ion battery, etc. Looks like a really nice DAP, for an HD-based one. I'm thinking about getting this for a friend over an iPod Nano 4GB. Thoughts? Anyone here have one?

About the iPod Nanos, are they really fragile as I've heard? And they get scratches easily too, right?

Yes, the Nanos now seem somewhat notorious for being scratch-prone, though i have heard that this is more of a problem on the black model rather than the white for the mere fact that its more noticable on the black. The Zen MicroPhoto has been released so just check creatives website for all the information you might need, as well as the numerous websites floating around that have reviewed the product. Austin from dapreview.com has his own review of the unit if your interested. Remember that this is flash vs. hdd, so pick according to your circumstances and possible useage.

I have never seen or used a nano, but I am extremely impressed with the overall quality of my Zen Micro Photo. I highly recommend it.
