My Muvo "decided" to expose itself to me, and here's what I saw:

No it's good stuff, it's the same chipset in the carbon and iaudios new players.

I think the 'sad story' was more in reference to the author's implication that his player had opened up in some fashion than the contents of the player

Actually I dropped it, and somehow the impact broke the case into two(nothing broke), just a fix back and everything is fine

But I think there's a flaw in the design, the LCD is not sealed and dust can get into the display.

But I was amazed by how much they managed to squeeze everything in a ~1cm(width) pcb board.

Clumsy me, I guess I cannot use any HDD based players or else, it will mean head crashing

Looks like the zen micro also uses a philips radio chip. Don't know what Dac it's using though, creative?

Cool, I am alway happy to hear my purchases were wise. I suppose I thought Ihatepopups had just been bold and opened the bugger up. i am very happy with mine, pops and crackles or not.
