Creative media source - mac

And is there a way to use a Sony NW-A3000 or any other non-drag and drop device except iPod compatible with a mac? This is one of the biggest turnoffs that keep me from getting a mac.

A long time ago, there was a plug-in to use iTunes with Creative devices on the Mac. AFAIK the entire Zen range uses pretty much the same communications protocols to fill the player. It may be worth a hunt. Go to nomadness.net or the Creative support forums and ask.

Creative officially stop supporting the Mac after NJB1. Although there's been a few players that reportedly work like the early NuVos, I think you're asking for trouble if you go Creative. Stick to devices that have at least some Mac support. Lots do like iAudio, Rio, etc.
