Hi, does anyone know whether the Creative Gigaworks s750 speaker system has DC offset protection? I've had my X-Fi modded and the coupling caps removed and shorted with a notable DC offset and just want to ensure no damage is done to the speakers.

They may have input capacitors as a safety measure because they're designed to be used with computers, but don't count on it. Most speakers do not have DC offset protection.
