[Earonator]

I own a pair of Creative Fatal1ty headsets and I've heard a legend that says removing red plastic improves soundstage and quality by making them open. However I'm not sure how to do it, at least not without breaking the whole headset. Is it necessary to disassemble the whole cups or is there some sort of a trick so it can be done from the outside? Thanks in advance.
